Detroit Riverfront Design Competition

No items found.

The indigenous Native American Mound Builders of the Detroit River area framed the concept for the competition design. The proposed design for the riverfront site introduced mound-like circular two acre programmed landscape spaces and architectural elements. All new design elements respected the existing designs by famed sculptor Isamu Noguchi.
