Vinson J. Hustvedt-Camacho

Vinson manages studio operations and all visual and technical aspects of the practice. With diverse experience in architecture and urban design, Hustvedt-Camacho has led many of the urban and community related projects in the office. Vinson has a passion for interdisciplinary design efforts, focusing on the ‘multi-layered’ city at the intersection of landscape and architecture.

He is inspired by cultural, social, environmental, and economic issues that construct the modern sustainable city. As a place specific methodology for urban practice, he is invested in the idea of cultural forms and social justice as a means of creating a more human, equitable and interactive urban environments at all scales.

Vinson has had a leading role on many of the monument and memorial projects such as the Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta Centennial monuments on the Howard University campus. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Florida and aMaster of Architecture from The Catholic University of America.
