PUSH studio (formerly Smith + Murray studios) prepared schematic plans that included playground upgrades, ADA ramp access, circulation reorganization and stormwater management. Rose Park was a collaborative effort between The Friends of Rose Park, The Trust for Public Land, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Department of General Services. The park schematic design was a part of the Washington DC Mayor’s $30 million ‘Play DC’ park renovation initiative, which included 28 city parks.
